Working with stained glass is bringing order to chaos. At Sageleaf Whimsy, design, glass, tools, and passion are used to create a piece, then we watch light tumble through our work to honour the glass.
Intriguing glass pieces are designed and built by our Chief Glassbreaker at the studio using traditional methods, as well as methods "outside of the box". We work with layered glass, solder sculpting, wire and foil overlays, torch work as well as using natural elements and recycled glass in some of our designs. For examples, click Methods. We also repair existing pieces.
Stained glass quilt blocks, window panels, garden art, suncatchers, transoms, lamps, decorations, candleholders, boxes, jewellery, centrepieces... Consider a piece for yourself, or to give as a gift or favour for a wedding, an anniversary, retirement or other memorable occasion.
Please contact us here to find out more about having a custom stained glass piece designed and built, to purchase a gift certificate or a piece from our gallery, to meet us at our studio in the northern reaches of Stone Mills Township in Ontario, Canada, or if you are looking for stained glass repair.
We'd also be happy to meet you at any one of the events we will be attending in upcoming months.
You are invited to wander through our online gallery. Although it's difficult to see texture, true colour and the way that light affects a piece of glasswork in a photograph, we hope the pictures in the gallery will inspire you.
